Honoring the Legacy of Liz Thornburg — #Life4Liz Blood Drive

Last year, our Coast Radio Group family lost one of our own. Liz Thornburg was taken from us far too soon in a tragic accident, and the hole she left is one this station and this community still feel every day.

Liz was more than a coworker. She was part of what made this place feel like home, and her memory continues to inspire everyone who knew her.

Loss turned into life: the #Life4Liz Blood Drive was a huge success

To honor Liz the way she'd want — by helping others — we held the #Life4Liz Blood Drive, and the Coast showed up in a big way. The turnout was incredible, and because of everyone who rolled up a sleeve, the drive was a tremendous success that will help save lives across our community.

There's no better tribute to Liz's memory than the gift of life given in her name, and this community delivered it in a way that would have made her proud.
